Azelaic Acid is a 3-in-1 clinically proven active that helps reduce blemishes, pigmentation and redness. This formula uses a new-generation water-soluble form called Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (PAD) that has similar properties to Azelaic Acid, but enables a super-light, oil-free texture. The two strong points of PAD are to even the skin tone and to control excessive oiliness.

In our formula we are using 20% Azeclair, a solution containing 6% pure Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (PAD). While 6% might not sound like a high number, when it comes to PAD, it is an outstanding amount. The molecule is effective already and typically used at 1-3%. Studies done by the ingredient’s manufacturer show that 3% PAD (or 10% Azeclair) is an effective amount in normalizing oil production and evening the skin tone, while a study published in the Journal of Dermatological Treatment used 5% PAD for the management of rosacea.

Geek tip: Based on our experience, those who are sensitive to niacinamide tend to find aPAD an especially helpful addition to their skincare routine.

how to use it?

Apply a few drops to the face after cleansing, before using emulsions and/or creams. Can be used either in the AM and/or PM.

Really love geek and gorgeous products. I have rosacea and have tried sooo many brandnames. Very few works with my rosacea. But this product works and doesnt irritate my skin. It even calms my skin, which almost no other product have done.
When my rosacea had a flare up with alot of pastules this one irritated my skin alot, but everything did. Just washing my face with water was irritating. But when my face calmed down and my skin barrier healed a bit, this product all of sudden was tolerated by my skin and now I am on my third bottle. Cant be with out it now.

I could cry. I’m so happy that I decided to give this a shot. I have mild rosacea but on top of that my skin is just very reactive in general and is red 99% of the time. I’ve tried azaleic acid from other brands & it irritates my skin while in use & temporarily worsens my redness as a result- not the results I was going for obviously. I’ve tried layering it, slowly working up and increasing the frequency of use, but alas, my skin just never seemed to adjust to it. I remembered G&G had an azaleic acid serum & that it was a derivative- I decided to make a last ditch effort and see if the derivative was less harsh & irritating to my skin. Alas! I’m finally seeing all the wonderful benefits of azaleic acid that I’ve read about with none of the side effects! My oiliness is under control (in the heat of summer no less!), my redness is significantly reduced, & my skin is less inflamed in general. I can use this twice a day with no side effects and no burning upon application. The texture is light with a bit of a gel texture that goes on smooth but dries to lightly tacky. It easily incorporates into my routine and I don’t have any issues layering it with any other serums (even my oily ones). Honestly this is a God send. I don’t know how many people have issues with regular azaleic acid- but if you’re one of them give this a try!

Perioral dermatitis rescue

I’ve purchased this product a few times now, it’s the only serum my skin tolerates when my dermatitis is flared up and seems to help reverse the irritation. No pilling or tackiness and layers well beneath moisturizer and spf.
