description

Retinal is the "big brother" molecule of the better known anti-aging superstar, Retinol. While Retinol needs two metabolic conversion steps to reach the active form, Retinoic Acid (aka Tretinoin), Retinal is the direct precursor only one conversion step away from the active form the skin cells understand. It is estimated that Retinal can convert more than 10x faster to Retinoic Acid than Retinol, making Retinal an outstandingly effective member of the retinoid family (Vitamin A family).

Once converted, Retinal helps the skin cells to produce more collagen and other structural elements, making the skin more youthful, firm and elastic. It also speeds up the renewal process of the upper skin layers making it smoother and more even. A-Game is a smart-aging must-have, but it is also useful as an adjacent product for fading pigmentation, as well as helping acne-prone skin.

how to use

Apply a pea-sized amount to the face in the PM & distribute it evenly across your face. In your evening routine, apply liquid and gel-type products first after cleansing (for example a toner, or our other gel serums such as HA 5), then your milky serums (like Power Peptides), followed by A-Game. Finish your routine with a moisturizer. Wear a sunscreen of SPF 30 or greater in the morning.

If you are using A-Game 20 for the first time, phase in application starting at 1-2 times per week for two weeks. If well-tolerated, move up to every other evening in two weeks and finally - if your skin tolerates it - every night. Depending on your skin's sensitivity, you may be able to use A-Game 20 around your eyes and on your neck, but please only use a small amount, adjusting frequency based on your skin's individual level of tolerance.

Do not use if pregnant. Topical use of retinoids during breastfeeding is considered low risk, however, please consult your physician first.

Good to know: A-Game has a bright yellow color due to the high concentration of Retinal in it. Based on our experience, it dissipates on the skin and does not leave a yellow tint on surfaces. If you still experience residual color, you can minimize it by leaving time for the product to fully absorb & using a moisturizer on top. Any marks can be removed by washing your clothes & fabrics with your regular detergent.

Best retinal product for mature skin

I'm 60 years old, a redhead, and have combination skin that tends to be oily and sensitive. I've been using A-Game 20 for over a year, and it's the best product for me against loss of firmness, redness and pigmentation, wrinkles and uneven skin tone. I also use the cream on my neck, décolletage, and arms and I haven't experienced any irritation.

Five stars

I've been using G&G products for years including A-Game serums, I started with the lowest. I have tried more expensive retinal serums in the past as well but there is no point in spending more when A-Game delivers the same brilliant results. I am 46, I have a combination type skin with my chin being problem area for pimples and sometimes painful acne that would just sit under the surface but A-Game retinal sorted that out in my case better than salicylic acid serum.

Envoi postal rapide.

Great retinal for advanced users

I went from milder retinol products from various brands through to G&G retinal, first the A-Game 10 and now using the A-Game 20 (on my second bottle) and it's great. Doesn't irritate my skin (if used cautiously, I use it 3 nights a week and always paired with a calming serum) and I can really see my skin is clearer and smoother. However it does stain any white pillowcases yellow, so beware!

no results, yellow staining, bigger size needed

i think stronger options of retinoids are needed, such as tretinoin, as retinal gave me no results. another problem was yellow staining - i know vitamin a itself is of yellow/orange colour, but would love to see if there is a chance to somehow reformulate the formula to a lighter colour. another comment is that i would love to see bigger size of packaging.
