how to use
Wet face, squeeze cleanser into palm and gently, but thoroughly massage over face and eye area. Rinse well with tepid water and pat dry.
If you are not using waterproof sunscreen or makeup, Jelly Joker cleanses the skin thoroughly as a one-step cleanser. In this case, use a generous amount and massage skin for 30-60 seconds. If you wear long-lasting sunscreen or makeup, or you prefer double cleansing, Jelly Joker is perfect as a second cleanse.
We do not think that washing your face in the morning with a cleanser is necessary, lukewarm water usually works as well. But if you prefer to use a cleanser in the morning, Jelly Joker is gentle enough to be a great morning cleanser.
Shelf life: 2 years from production (unopened), 12 months PAO (period after opening).
ingredients & research
key ingredients:
PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides + Poloxamer 184 - Very gentle yet effective surfactants (cleansing agents) known mostly from micellar waters and contact lens solutions. They do not sting the eyes at all.
Xylitylglucoside + Anhydroxylitol + Xylitol – A sugar based humectant trio that increases the skin’s water-binding capacity and strengthens the skin’s barrier. Helps to make our cleanser more gentle and hydrating.
Panthenol + Allantoin - A classic soothing duo helping Jelly Joker to be even more gentle.

I absolutely love this cleanser and it is now my holy grail water based cleanser, which I use alone in the morning and after a cleansing balm in the evenings. It is great for my sensitive, combination skin. It doesn't dry my skin out at all but cleanses really thoroughly. It is not fragranced, which is great for sensitive skin, and it feels really nice to use. The quality to price ratio is really impressive, as with all G&G products I have used. Please make a balm cleanser to go with it :)
This cleanser was such a surprise first time I used it!
I love everything about it! It does the job, it’s not stripping, it’s fragrance free, leaves the skin hydrated, it’s great for sensitive skin and the
consistency is so different from anything I’ve tried before - it’s a pure jelly joy!
I would though recommend this as a second cleanser (I double cleanse) . Heavy makeup should be removed with another cleanser.
This is the best cleanser I’ve found. I have incredibly sensitive skin, yet this never irritates it. It’s gentle enough to use in the morning, but strong enough to use as the second part of a double cleanse in the evening. Please never stop making this!
I hadn’t heard of geek and gorgeous but found a recommendation for the jelly joker face wash on a Reddit for fragrance allergies. I decided to order it and give it a try, and I am so happy I did. This wash feels so cleansing but not stripping, doesn’t irritate my skin at all, and removes any traces of makeup I haven’t gotten with micellar water. It is inexpensive and works wonders. I am ordering multiple bottles at a time because I never want to run out of it. The texture is interesting, almost like a thick salve feeling, but once you add water, it glides onto the skin.
Works for me! After a frustrating 6 months of cleansing oils, cleansing balms that seemed I could never totally remove, and 'Gleansers' (fancy names for it don't work- and if it does, you'll wish it didn't). My genuine surprise at my first try-- Everything appeared to dissolve with 1 cleanse, but, I was cynical, "well, THAT can't be right" so I double cleansed--overkill for my delicate skin. Now, its as simple as, wet face, use dime-sized amount, it lathers up well, rinse. and done. One and done for me. I, and my skin, have never been happier.
